Bail Amphora

 

Campanian re-figure bail amphora. Naked youth standing holding a beaded wreath in both hands. Back side himation-clad male wearing a white fillet, with palmettes between them laural on the shoulder and palmettes and scrolls on the neck. The loop handle twisted and pierced through the top nodule. In perfect condition.

Material: Terracotta

Period: 330 - 320 B.C.
